Black_Knight & I made this event last year on our return from Arizona. We had a fantastic time! Last year it includ4ed a DJ (the vice-president of Krosswirz runs this) on New Year's Eve, including noise makers, hats and a Champaign toast at midnight, a Texas Holdem tournament and lots of gamine. They have room to set up tents inside. The garage is heated! We would of had fireworks too, but it rained event night while there.

This event starts on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and runs through Sunday at 8:00 p.m. There is talk of it not ending until Monday at 8:00 p.m. if there is enough interest. That is 74 hours of Fun & gaming.

This months LAN party will be at our Quincy Location at the home of Bloody-Mess and Zero. Don't forget that this month of course is December and therefore New Years Eve LAN is once again upon us. So this month we will be celebrating new years LAN party style. Come party with your friends and bring in the New Year fragging your best friends.

LAN Party of course will be in the garage and will start Friday night at 6pm and run till Sunday at 8 pm.

Cost for this excellent New Years LAN party will be $5 if you wish to fend for yourself or $10 if you wish to eat with the rest of us. Be sure to send in your RSVP in as soon as possible.

Well Our November LAN just got finished. And I think that we all had a fun time. Some of the games that were played where - Flatout, Battlefield 2142, Frozen Throne, Battlefield Vietnam, The Battle for Middle-Earth II and some online Texas Holdem’. The music server worked great and I can say that the “Ass In the Air” song only was played 5 times. Our http LAN party server worked with no problems and we had no power or network issues.

I did get an early Christmas present. It is a new computer case from waveforme, Pagan Wizard and Black_Rose just for being so nice. (The guys just got fed up with the old case) Also I was given a presidential flag with seal for behind me and my desk. given to me by Pagan Wizard and Road Kill.

Things coming up in December are we will be taking a break as a host and will be going out on the road to a New Years LAN Party down in Quincy, Illinois with our very good friends at Krosswirz. Some of our local gaming friends will be making the drive down there to join us. We should all have a very good time for this one as it will be 98 hours of gaming, DJ on New Year’s Eve and include a champagne toast for those of age. They have also been know to have a fireworks display if the weather permits.

Then back home and start thinking about our January LAN which will be on Saturday, January 13^th starting at 10:00 a.m. I hope that you will come out as the more people that attend the more fun we all have. Without you there would be no LANS. Registration is open, so go ahead and get signed up!

We had a good time at our December event. Hopefully other things is our lives will stop interfering with us. The snow we had made travel terrible. It has also been very cold recently. We played some Frozen Throne at this event. For some it was the first time. This was enjoyed by everyone. Registration is now open for our January event.

The Addicted 2 LAN Gaming will be taking place at the home of Black_Knight & Black_Rose in Joliet, Illinois on Friday, November 11th starting at noon until Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. until whenever everyone decides they have had their fill of fragging. There is limited capcity so you better sign up fast. This event will be full gigabit connection! We do have broadband internet access. Please print a copy of our event flyer and put it in your favorite store, laundry, bar, etc. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Registration is open! Pre-paid admission cost for this event will be $15. This price will include one meal on Friday and one meal on Saturday and lots of gaming! If you want unlimited soda please add $5. All registrations and pre-payments need to be received no later than Thursday, November 10th at noon. All veteran's and currently enlisted personel please contact staff about the very special admission price for our Veteran's Day Event!

We have also added something new on our registration page. We have added a bottled water or soda category. If you want the unlimited bottled water or soda please select what type of soda you prefer. If the type of soda you usually drink is not listed, please, put the type of soda you prefer in the comments area. If you pre-pay we will try our best to have that type available for you at the event.

You can also pre-order Bawls at a cost of $2 a bottle. Payments for the Bawls must be received one week before the end of registration through PayPal or prearranged cash. Payment date for Bawls this event will be no later than Thursday, November 3rd by noon. You will find your Bawls on ice at the event.

On the registration confirmation page you will find three different choices of payment:
1) Pre-pay $15 admission for this event without soda or Bawls
2) Pre-pay $20 for this event with soda included, but without Bawls
3) Pre-pay for ice cold Bawl. Make sure to send the correct amount.

We own the empty lot next door. You can use this lot for off street parking. You may bring a tent, blow up mattress, sleeping bag or blanket and pillow and pitch the tent the empty lot next door. You can also sleep in our seat, if the need arises. You can also get a motel, if you want to.

Addicted 2 LAN Gaming July 2005 Event!

The Addicted 2 LAN Gaming will be taking place at the home of Black_Knight & Black_Rose on Saturday, July 30th starting at noon until Saturday late night or possibly until Sunday evening… until whenever everyone decides they have had their fill of fragging. We live a small five room house with lots of love. We will be a very nice, cozy LAN.

There is limited capcity so you better sign up fast. This event will be pre-registered only! After you have registered, you will be sent a link with the needed information. We will be away from the internet from Wednesday, July 6th in the afternoon until Sunday, July 10th. We will be checking our e-mail upon return and update the web site at that time.

You may bring a tent and pitch it in the empty lot next door. You can also sleep in your seat, if the need arises. You may bring your drink of choice. We will provide a cooler with ice. We will have a grill available! We should have plenty of hot dogs for all. You may want to bring some munchies.

This event will be full gigabit connection! We do have broadband internet access.

Due to circumstances beyond our control Addicted 2 LAN gaming has been canceled. We are sorry for the short notice and refunds for those who have paid will be refunded.

Help Addicted 2 LAN Gaming get internet access!

Your help is needed. If you can make a donation to this this cause you will find a donation button directly below the menu on the left side of the page. I will start a special area in the forums to keep everyone updated. We are looking to pay for a one year contract at one time. Look here to see which option you would prefer for us to have or we could have broadband for approximately $110 a month. $110 x 12 months + $1320. We think our bare minimum for DSL would be this package. It cost $36.99 a month times twelve months for a total of $443.88. When we receive enough money we will go before the board and tell them that we will pay for internet access for one year contract. So if you want to see internet access, PLEASE, donate to the cause. If they refuse this donation for internet access, which I do not believe will happen, but in case they do all money will be returned.

Our next event will start at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13^th until the following evening at midnight, for 30 + consecutive hours of gaming!!! This event will include a meal on Friday evening starting at 6:00 p.m. until gone for those who have pre-registered they will be attending on Friday evening.

We are located at 25864 S. Chestnut Road in Monee, Illinois. This building was formally the Monee American Legion Hall.

We have a new Dell PowerConnect 5224 full gigabit 24 port switch. This will be available on a first come first serve basis for those with a gigabit card. It worked great at our last event. Downloads were amazingly fast. We played many different games with zero ping. Come on out and check it out!

We will be having a Texas Holdem tournament late Friday evening. Stop by and check out our new table & poker chips!

We have dual DDR available, too. Come out and have some fun trying to keep your feet moving to the beat.

Registration .is open! The cost is $10 if prepaid or $15 at the door. You can pay an additional $5 for unlimited canned pop or bottled water. Prepayments and pre-registration must be received before 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13^th.

Yes, the snow keep some people away. We enjoyed getting snowed in together. We did not tear down the rigs until 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning. We were very happy to meet the MOAL crew. Thanks to all of those who showed up. I know we had fun!

Since Counter Strike uses Steam there is something that ALL GAMERS MUST DO if you want to play Counter Strike at the event. Addicted 2 LAN Gaming events do not have internet connections and since steam forces you to authenticate, you will not be able to play CS at this weekends event unless you do the following:

At 10:00 PM EST THURSDAY, January 20th, 2004 Night, follow these instructions EXACTLY.

1) Log into your steam account.
2) Be sure all steam updates and CS updates are downloaded and they can play the game online.
3) Quit the game.
4) Right click the steam icon in the toolbar
5) Select "EXIT"
6) DO NOT SELECT "EXIT AND LOGOUT"
7) DO NOT GO BACK INTO CS OR STEAM until you are at the event on Friday.
8) Make sure your friends do these instructions as well.Remember, if a steam update comes out Thursday night and you log in on Thursday evening or

Friday and download it, you will not be on the same version as everyone else and you will

not be able to play.

Again, update your server at 10:00pm Thursday night, no later.

Our next event will take place starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15th until until the following evening at midnight. This event will be special because we will celebrate our first anniversary! We will be serving cake on Friday evening. We will have a meal on Saturday, all included at the regular cost. You will still get the opportunity to win a door prize, which EVERYONE that has attended, has always gone home with something.

As you can all see we are still having problem with this web site. Registration will take place in our forums for now. The cost is $10 if prepaid. You can pay at www.paypal.com The address needed is paypal at addicted2langaming dot com. I think everyone can figure that out. If not let us know. Prepayments must be made before 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 14th.

We will also have a Halloween Costume Contest early Friday evening. We will have something special in store for those wearing a complete costume (more than just a mask.) If you dare come in your costume and maybe win a prize!

If we have enough interest we maybe having a Texas Holdem tournament late Friday evening, too.

Registration is now open for the June event! All official Battlefield 1942 Vietnam MML3 and CS team members from Team LANgasm will be admitted for half price. That is our way of saying let's get together and practice the weekend before MML3.

May 14th Event Review

May LAN is over with! We had a great time. It would have been nice to see some more people come out, but we understand when people have other things to do.

The-Taker made it though this LAN without having to reformat his hard drive. Congratulations to The-Taker.

Driven stopped in on his lunch break to say hi! It was great seeing him again. We told him he just needed a 29 hour lunch break so he could have time to game with us.

Viper831 ending up getting sick and not returning to the event. He was instead, at home worshiping the toilet. Sorry guys for all this, the staff was definitely not up to par at this event. We will try to be in better shape for the June event.

We hope to see more of our old friends and meet some new ones at nest next event that starts on June 18th. Registration has opened for the June event.

Addicted 2 LAN Gaming event will be on Friday, May 14th starting at 7:00 p.m. until the following evening at midnight or later if we have a crowd that wants to stay & help with clean up.

Smoking will be allowed as long as it does not bother any of the gamers. If it does bother you, PLEASE, contact staff and we will let everybody know, they will have to go outside to smoke or we will create a smoking only area.

Registration is open for the Addicted 2 LAN Gaming March event. Cost is only $10 if prepaid, $15 at the door. All pre-registration & prepays must be made before 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 15th. The page will be shut down at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2004. If payments is not made before this time, you will need to pay at the door price. If you are not yet 18 you need to include this information and your phone number in the comments area on the registration page, so we can speak with your parents before the event.

MillionManLan, the largest multiplayer computer gaming convention in North America. 4 Days & 1200+ Gamers! 4 day! 78 consecutive hours Thursday, June 24th (noon) - Sunday, 27th (6:00 p.m.) located at the Kentucky State Fairgrounds, East Hall A & B at 937 Phillips Lane in Louisville, Kentucky

If anyone is interested in going with us, PLEASE, contact staff. We will have enough room for no more than four other people. We will be leaving either in the evening of Tuesday, June 22nd or the early morning on Wednesday, June 23rd. We will return either very late Sunday, June 27th or early morning on Monday, June 28th. These times are so we can help with set up and clean up at MML3. We can provide transportation there and back only, if you are willing to chip in for fuel costs. We will not be getting a motel, as we have a very small motor home and a trailer to haul the equipment. We are not planning on leaving the Kentucky State Fairgrounds during the event.

Just a heads up. This is an event you do not want to miss. Anyone who like to LAN should check out this event at least once. You will never want to miss it again!

At our next event, Friday, April 16th (7:00 p.m.) - Sunday, April 18th (12:00 a.m.) we will be having a cook out on Saturday afternoon! We will have hamburgers & hot dogs, if you want to cook something else on our grill, you are welcome to bring it with you.

Please check our forums for polls on the tournaments you would like to play. We will set tournaments up, if we get feedback on what you want. We want everybody to have a fun time when attending Addicted 2 LAN gaming.

Some people have been using [at addicted 2 LAN gaming dot com] in their from area. These are not coming from our address. You can check the properties to see this. Never open any attachments that you may think come from us. We will never send out attachments.
